I was lucky enough to discover Ashtanga Yoga in 2015 with Donna Southwell, and at that time it became an incredibly important part of my life. Feeling disconnected and unsure of my place in the world, the practice and Donna’s teaching created space for me to process some particularly difficult life experiences.
I later went on to complete training in Yoga and Breathwork, where I discovered the importance of working with the body and finding presence in the here and now, rather than becoming completely identified with my thoughts. Working with the body and the breath allowed me to find a pause and a deeper connection to my body.
I am a Dance and Movement Psychotherapist and facilitator with a passion for supporting wellbeing through movement, creativity, and connection. Over the last five years, I have facilitated women's empowerment groups, nature connection experiences, sound healing and relaxation sessions, creative workshops, women's walks, and somatic movement and dance classes. I work with the wisdom of the body, supporting movement, creativity and embodied awareness for self discovery and personal growth. I have also trained in Reiki and Massage Therapy and hold a degree in Performance Arts.
For me, movement and music are where I return to, whatever I am experiencing. Working with the body has been hugely transformative in my own life and it’s something I feel passionate about sharing with others.
