I have been practising yoga for over 20 years and teaching since 2010, after studying with
Joey Miles and Anna Ashby at triyoga London.
I teach both strong alignment-based postural practices and restorative forms of yoga and have particular training and experience in teaching adaptive yoga and yoga to support good mental health. I have taught in studios, workplaces, community centres, homes, hospitals and for charities/not-for-profits. Before relocating to Calderdale in 2021 I was a Director at Studio Kooks Yoga and Pilates at Beckenham Place Mansion, South London.
Although I do love to give detailed instructions in my classes – I offer these in the spirit of supporting students to deepen their own individual enquiries and understand their own healthy movement patterns, rather than dogma. I hold a practice space that is cheery,
supportive and non-judgemental. And definitely not strict.
